A Journey of Passion and Exploration

Casa Cafetzin Coffee Roasters was born from a ​deep passion for exploration and a love for ​exceptional coffee. Founded by Ale, a lifelong ​explorer and traveler, our story began 12 years ​ago in the enchanting town of Auroville, India. It ​was here that Ale first encountered the magic of ​fresh-roasted coffee at a French-owned roastery. ​Captivated by the intricate process and the ​exquisite flavors, a spark was ignited.

Ale's journey took her to the hidden corners of ​Mexico, where she visited numerous coffee ​producers in remote and secluded areas. ​Eager to learn from the best, she spent four ​years immersed in the world of coffee, gaining ​invaluable knowledge from Mexico's top ​roasters and cuppers. With a wealth of ​experience and a heart full of passion, Ale ​decided to bring the art of specialty coffee to ​her hometown, opening the first specialty ​coffee shop in Ciudad Juárez.

In 2019, Ale was joined by Arturo, a meticulous coffee ​roaster who shares her dedication to quality. Together, ​they expanded Casa Cafetzin to El Paso, Texas, ​creating a sister coffee shop and roastery that bridges ​the border cities. Their philosophy is simple yet ​profound: always be learning. Ale and Arturo continue ​to visit coffee farmers, seeking to deepen their ​understanding and appreciation of the craft.

At Casa Cafetzin, we believe in the power of education ​and community. We offer barista training, coffee ​education, and consultancy services to help aspiring ​coffee shop owners realize their dreams. Our mission is ​to share our love for coffee, from the farm to your cup, ​fostering a culture of continuous learning and ​exceptional quality.
